Jays Foods started in Chicago in 1927 and made chips and popcorn here for decades, and this cover gives each one its own side: “a Pip of a Chip” on the front, Popcorn on the back. The Jays name itself dates to 1941, when Leonard Japp quietly retired the Mrs. Japp’s label.
